Take heed, traveller. Here, there be monsters!
Two years have passed since the girl Elenor saw in the mirror became a monster from her nightmares. No amount of effort from her parents could keep rumours of her Lovecraftian transformation from the wrong ears. With men in dark suits threatening her family, Elenor saw no other choice but to run. Clearly, no amount of searching would ever lead her to a conclusion other than the impossible one.

Eating out of dumpsters and hiding wherever she could lead her to the right place at the right time to make a friend - possibly the only person in the world who would see her as something other than a nightmare made flesh. Mateo pushes her to seek more than just survival.
Sought out by those who know far more about what happened her than she ever dreamed possible, Elenor must run again. Some want her dead. Others see the potential in what she has become. When potential wins out, Elenor discovers that being a monster just might be the one thing that she was always meant to be.
With new friends at her side, Elenor will hunt the answer to the question that has haunted her since her fateful awakening. In seeking that answer, she will unravel a mystery ancient beyond her very reality and earn a place where no one will be able to rightfully call her "monster" ever again.
