A recent opinion article in The Guardian argued that hardback books are becoming obsolete. Softwood argues that this could not be less true. Rather, different editions are about giving readers and authors choice. Paperbacks may be more convenient at some times, and at others a beautiful hardback special edition may be far more exciting. It is not about replacing one edition with another!

Suffolk; A story told through food, drink & people launched at an exclusive event at Bury's Angel Hotel attended by restaurateurs, hoteliers, and food and drink producers. The book is beautifully written and illustrated by Adam Tully and Hannah Dewar for whom it's been a labour of love for over a year and we're proud to have been involved in its creation.

One of Softwood's newer authors, Annabelle James, has recently launched her book; Matty McDuff's Adventures: The Great Computer Suite Heist. This brilliant adventure also contains signing illustrations to help raise awareness of BSL and is available from all good bookshops now!
